This session draws on research on transition services for college-bound students with learning disabilities and a recent study of college-going experiences of students with disabilities at public colleges/universities in Massachusetts, as well as personal experience of a recent college graduate with disabilities to provide participants with insights and practical applications to improve transition service design and implementation for students transitioning to college.

Catherine McEachern has a B.S. in Psychology with a specialization in Developmental Disabilities and Human Services. Her areas of interest include neurodegenerative diseases, learning disabilities, and their interconnection.
